But what is SCORM?
The Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a set of inter-related technical specifications built upon the work of the AICC, IMS, and IEEE to create a unified content model for Web-based learning content. SCORM compliant learning packages can be transferred from one SCORM compliant piece of architecture to another allowing you to re-use the same package when switching from one SCORM compliant learning management system (LMS) to another, or when you want to use the same e-learning packages concurrently in several parallel learning platforms.
